You can learn how to apply Variance® whether or not you have experience with plaster products. If you are new to plastering Variance® Fundamentals is for you. If you are an experienced plasterer, you can start with the General Application Training and then move on to the Advanced Applicator Training. You can attend these courses at the Variance Headquarters in Albuquerque, New Mexico where we offer them on a regular basis. We also offer training courses periodically at our distributor’s locations all around the country. Please check the training schedule for more information.
For the Novice Plasterer
We designed the Variance® Fundamentals for those who have little or no plaster experience who may want to do a small project in their own home. The basic techniques of interior plastering are taught using Variance® products. Once completed, you will be equipped to complete a small Variance® project on your own. More info . . .
For the Experienced Plasterer
The General Application Training and the Advanced Applicator Training courses are for plastering contractors or other tradespersons serious about learning how to apply Variance® products for large-scale use. The General course will provide you with a solid foundation of the Variance product line and will give you some hands-on experience in applying each finish. The Advanced will continue to help you learn the application techniques, and show you how to finish bullnose corners and how to patch. Upon successful completion we will list your company on our Recommended Applicators page. More info . . .
