Low VOC
All Variance^® products contain less than 40 grams of volatile compounds per liter, which is significantly lower than acrylic paints. Variance^® products do not contain ethylene glycol, one of the more volatile compounds commonly used in acrylic paints.

Mold & Mildew Resistant
Variance^® products were designed to be highly resistant to mold and mildew. Additives in Variance^® products prevent the growth of mold. Also, because Variance^® products are applied much thicker than traditional texture and paint Variance^® provides a barrier more resistant to mold and mildew. This barrier is also vapor permeable, which allows the substrate to breathe, therefore not trapping moisture.

Quality and Durability
Variance^® products were designed to last significantly longer than traditional paint or other plasters. Because it is integrally colored, it is easily cleaned and easily patched resulting in fewer instances where it would need to be recoated.

Dust Free
Variance^® products are not mixed in the field. Therefore, during the application process no dust is created. This allows people to work with Variance^® without breathing in harmful dust.

Regionally Extracted, Processed, and Manufactured Materials
Over 75% of the raw materials in Variance^® products are harvested within a
500-mile radius of the manufacturing plant.

High Product Yield
The product yield of Variance^® products is higher than gypsum-based plasters. It takes less fuel to distribute to customers resulting in fewer trucks on the road.
