Application Overview
The metallic glaze finish is created using either Solido™ or OmniCoat as a basecoat and Metallic Topcoat as a sealer. The Metallic Topcoat comes in a variety of colors, including gold, silver, bronze, copper, and pearl. The first step to create this finish is to apply one coat of the basecoat in any color you choose. Once the basecoat is dry the Metallic Topcoat is troweled over it in random decorative trowel strokes or in linear trowel strokes to simulate brushed metal. The Metallic Topcoat can add a rich dimension to any room. It can be used in entire rooms, accent walls, fireplaces, or other decorative elements.
